MSC Cruises’ 2027 Mega Ship is Now Open for Booking

A new ship from MSC Cruises is coming to Port Canaveral in November 2027, and the cruise line has announced that it’s now open for booking.

MSC World Atlantic will be the fourth World-class ship with MSC Cruises, and it is scheduled to debut a year after MSC World Asia is completed.

The new ship will be offering 7-night itineraries to both the Eastern and Western Caribbean, all which will include a stop at the cruise line’s private destination at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.

The news of MSC World Atlantic being open for booking was announced in a video by the godmother of MSC World America, Drew Barrymore.  In the video Barrymore joked that the sister ship coming in 2027 could make her the “cool god aunt” of the ship.

Itineraries for MSC World Atlantic begin on November 13, 2027, and will have the following ports of call on the schedule:

• Eastern Caribbean: Grand Turk, Puerto Plata, Nassau, Ocean Cay
• Western Caribbean: Costa Maya, Cozumel, Nassau, Ocean Cay

About the Ship

This 6,758-passenger ship will be much like her sister ships, while adding a few unique features as well. A new venue will be Viva La Musica, replacing the Champagne Bar in the World Galleria. This space will celebrate Latin culture with live music and dancing.

The ship will also debut the retro-themed Clubhouse, which is a family-friendly hub featuring a LEGO Family Zone, bumper cars, basketball, roller skating, and classic games.

The ship will still have many of the popular World Class attractions across its seven districts. Specialty dining spots like Butcher’s Cut steakhouse, Kaito Sushi and Teppanyaki, and Hola! Tacos & Cantina will be available.  The ship will have the thrilling Cliffhanger ride, which swings guests over the side of the ship.  And of course, the signature MSC Yacht Club “ship-within-a-ship” concept will be featured.

Prices for a 7-night cruise on MSC World Atlantic are listed on the cruise line’s website for around $809 per person for an interior cabin.
