Child Accidentally Takes LSD On Carnival Cruise As Parents Plead With Cruise Line For Help

A worrying story was posted on social media this week as a Carnival cruise guest explained how their child accidentally took LSD onboard.

Carnival Glory

The story was shared on social media, with David Scott then posting to claim to be the parent involved.

He explained how the family were at Guest Services, with their three children sat on a step under the counter so that they would behave.

However one of the children, a 4-year-old boy, found a sticker that he later claimed had a Batman image on it. He put it in his mouth, unaware that it was an LSD sticker.

He then hallucinated for 30 hours, having to be evacuated from the ship when tests could eventually confirm it was LSD that had caused it.

Mr Scott has claimed that Carnival showed no urgency in helping them, with the medical centre closed. The cruise line also left the candy store open (the guests weren’t sure at this time if the drugs had been found in the candy store, where they had last visited), and a bartender had ignored their pleas of a medical emergency to serve other guests.

The cruise line has also claimed that it had footage showing the child finding the laced sticker, but it is not helping the authorities with any footage of who may have dropped the sticker in the first place.

Mr Scott is campaigning on social media to get Carnival to release the footage, and to improve their procedures for any future incidents.

Thankfully it seems that Mr Scott’s son is now OK.
