Carnival Cruise Line has announced that it will be showing more American Football for next season, agreeing a deal to screen both NFL and college football.
John Heald announced via his Facebook page that the cruise line has bought the NFL Syndication and Sunday Ticket package.
This means that, across the fleet, guests will be able to enjoy Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football.
The cruise line has also struck an agreement to show 12 college football games every week of the 14-week season, with games chosen for the home ports of the ships.
The games won’t be shown on the cabin TVs, but will be available to watch in the casino bars, the pubs and the breweries onboard.
Some games will also be shown on the big screen, but the Dive In movies will still take priority.
The only exception is the Super Bowl, which will definitely be shown on the big screens and in the onboard theatre on each ship.
