Holland America Line Adds Farewell Dinner on Last Night of the Cruise

Holland America Line has added a new “Farewell Dinner” that takes place in the Main Dining Room on the final night of each cruise.

The “Farewell Dinner” will feature classic cruise dining with a curated menu that’s inspired by the cruise line’s culinary heritage. However, this special dinner is not just about the food.

The evening will be filled with energy and camaraderie that define the last night, putting a spotlight on heartfelt moments shared between guests and crew.

A highlight of the evening is the traditional “Gelang Sipaku Gelang” song, a beloved Holland America Line tradition that brings guests and crew together in a joyful farewell.

As guests gather in the Dining Room, “Home to Rotterdam” will play in the background and the ship’s cruise director reflects on memorable moments from the voyage.
