Atlas Ocean Voyages is expanding its immersive expedition experiences with the launch of Afar Recommends, a newly curated collection of cultural programming created in partnership with the award-winning travel media brand Afar. Beginning in 2026, select voyages sailing through Northern Europe and the Caribbean will introduce Afar Recommends: Stargazing & Astronomy Workshops, giving guests the opportunity to explore the night sky through expert-led experiences designed to deepen their connection to the destinations they visit.

Guided by a resident astronomer, Afar Recommends: Stargazing & Astronomy Workshops offer captivating insights into the universe through expert-led talks and on-deck stargazing sessions. The collection also features thoughtfully curated shore excursions identified by the Afar Recommends icon that immerse guests in local culture through authentic encounters, hands-on workshops, national pastimes, and regional cuisine.
