Solo-cruise.jpg

Party Cruise Or Peaceful Sightseeing

A lot of people tell me that they’re on the hunt for good solo cruise deals or options. But they rarely tell me what type of solo cruise they actually want.

Thing is, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all singles cruise. There are lots of different people who enjoy a cruise holiday, and even among the single passengers guests are looking for different things – friendships, casual sex, or long-term relationships and potentially love.

Me taking a selfie on the top deck of a Windstar cruise ship, with a clear view of the pool area and the cloudy sky above.

Personally, when I travel solo I just love having some time to myself!

There’s some good news – there are different cruise options to fit the different types of traveller. Just make sure you don’t end up on the wrong one…

1. Sexy Cruises

If you’re looking to just get laid on a cruise, and you’re a confident person, then you might prefer cutting out the chase and just booking a place on a sex cruise.

Sex cruises aren’t officially run by cruise lines, but by specialist companies that then charter ships. So you won’t find an official Royal Caribbean sex cruise, but you might find a sex cruise that takes place on a Royal Caribbean ship.

There will be theme nights for partying and mingling, special rooms reserved for adult activities, and a host of other sexy themed events.

A good place to start is to look for swingers cruises, though many of these will be couples-only. Temptation Cruises is one company that welcomes single cruisers, and they have an annual cruise you can book.

Killing Kittens also runs a luxury lifestyle cruise with a femme-led, inclusive vibe. While it’s primarily aimed at couples and single women, the atmosphere is all about freedom, connection, and exploration in a high-end, respectful setting.

Be careful not to assume that all nude cruises are sex cruises, though. There are some cruises for nudists who just want to relax, and if you book one of those, you might find your advances rejected pretty sternly!

And be warned that sex cruises are aimed at guests only. The crew onboard will be the regular cruise ship crew and they won’t be getting involved in the adult activities. Generally, you should only try to hook up with passengers, as crew can be fired for sleeping with guests.

2. Party Cruises

A vibrant dance party on a cruise ship deck at night, with a crowd of people dancing near the pool and a large screen illuminating the scene.

If a sex cruise sounds a little too direct for you, but you want the chance to hook up with other passengers if the mood takes you, then consider a party cruise instead. A party cruise could be a special chartered cruise, or a themed event on a ship, or you could just interpret it as a cruise on a ship that is known as a wild party destination!

There are so many options for themed cruises and most of them will involve parties of some sort. From the 80s and 90s music cruises to hippie cruises, Latin dance cruises, and everything in between, there’s really something for everyone – and if you’re a solo traveller, you have the advantage of knowing you already share something in common with others on the ship.

And because these are party cruises, you know that everyone’s in the mood to have fun, relax and hopefully mingle – which can make those initial conversations a little less awkward as you get to know your shipmates.

A group of excited friends posing for a photo on a sunny cruise ship deck, with a festive atmosphere and clear blue skies in the background.

If you aren’t too excited by a themed cruise, but like the idea of partying and meeting singles that way, you’ll want to try cruise lines known for their nightlife and onboard events.

Good options for party cruises include:

  • Virgin Voyages
  • Carnival
  • Royal Caribbean
  • NCL

Carnival, Royal Caribbean and NCL are family-friendly cruise lines but if you pick the right ship and date, you’ll get the right party crowd. Look at dates around Spring Break in the US, and avoid the ships that have the really obvious child-centric features.

Read more about the best party cruises.

3. Cruises for Under 30s

A woman in a white summer dress leaning on the railing of a cruise ship, enjoying the ocean view with her hair blowing in the sea breeze.

If you’re under 30 and you want to meet other singles on a cruise, you need to think carefully about the ship and itinerary you choose. While you will find people in their 20s on a cruise ship, they’re typically in the minority, even on some of the cruise lines I’m going to recommend here.

Still – the average age of cruising is coming down, and so there are still good opportunities for single cruises under 30 if you’re looking to meet others in the same age bracket.

A man in a blue shirt taking a selfie with a playful neon sign that reads "Can You Dig It?" and a mural of a smiling man in a captain's hat pointing upwards.

Cruise lines like Carnival and Virgin Voyages are particularly popular with younger adults. Carnival’s cruises are ideal for short, fun-packed breaks, while Virgin Voyages sailings are a little more upmarket but with plenty of themed nights for partying, too.

If you aren’t a party animal and would rather meet singles in a more relaxed setting, or while enjoying varied activities onboard, then a cruise with Royal Caribbean or NCL may be better suited.

NCL ships have more solo cabins, too, so you can save money travelling as a single passenger – though if you do hook up with someone, be aware you’ll be limited to a single bed.

4. Cruises for Over 30s

A passenger wrapped in a plaid blanket stands on the deck of an Alaskan cruise ship, gazing out at the serene, misty landscape.

If you’re in your 30s, then you need to think even more carefully about which is the right cruise line for you.

It’s at this age that there are single travellers interested in all different kinds of cruise, and so you want to try to avoid those less suited to your style and find a cruise that will have more likeminded solos in their 30s.

A woman enjoying a solo cruise vacation, relaxing on a sun lounger with a piña colada, by the ship's poolside.

If you’re the kind of person who still burns the candle at both ends and loves to party, then the same cruise line recommendations would apply to when you’re in your 20s. There are plenty of 30+ singles travelling with Carnival and Virgin Voyages, after all.

If you’re looking for a relaxed poolside adventure, then Royal Caribbean and NCL remain good choices. MSC is another cruise line to consider too, particularly if you’re on a budget, since the fares tend to be cheaper.

If you’re a British single traveller, and you’re in your 30s, I’d definitely recommend P&O Cruises. While the average age onboard is still a little older than 30, P&O’s typical cruiser will be younger than other British cruise lines, and there are lots of P&O cruises with no single supplement if you want to keep costs down.

With P&O, you’ll be able to enjoy some late-night partying if you’re into that scene, but there are plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy culture onboard, too, so finding other solo passengers with similar interests is easy enough.

5. Cruises for Over 40s

A man in a light blue shirt leaning on the deck railing of a cruise ship, looking out towards the horizon as the sun sets over the ocean.

The average age of cruise passengers is in the mid-40s, so this is a great age to cruise with almost any cruise line and still likely find other single passengers.

It’s an age where you have the broadest choice of cruise line, since you’re having to worry less about finding people your age, and more about choosing a cruise that best reflects your interests.

A woman in a white robe with a joyful expression, spreading her arms wide in a warm, wood-panelled sauna room on a cruise ship.

Royal Caribbean and NCL remain good choices for singles cruises in your 40s if you like American-style cruises with lots to do onboard, though again both have modern spaces to relax by the pool if that’s what you prefer.

If you enjoy a more premium cruise experience, then Holland America Line or Celebrity may be a better fit. There’s less variety in the daytime leisure facilities, but you’ll still find some fantastic bars to unwind and socialise in, along with some good activities for 40+ singles including cookery classes and dancing events.

Or you can step up to an ultra-luxury cruise with Regent Seven Seas or Silversea. These are expensive, but the service onboard is unrivalled, and so it’s ideal if you’re used to the finer things in life and want to meet other solo travellers who share that passion.

6. Cruises for Over 50s

A smiling man leaning on the railing of a cruise ship deck with the deep blue sea in the background under a clear sky.

Once you’re in your 50s and looking to meet other solo travellers for friendships and perhaps more, there are some cruise lines that may become better suited.

Premium cruise lines such as Azamara and Holland America offer an upmarket experience, perfect if you like the idea of sipping fine wines or relaxing in a cosy cocktail bar to meet others.

A woman lounging in the pool on a cruise ship, wearing a colourful headscarf and sunglasses, holding a drink with a pink flamingo floatie.

For Brits, I’d recommend looking at P&O Cruises still, though you have other options such as Fred. Olsen and Saga. Cunard’s another fine option too, especially if you like the classic style of cruising with some tradition and formality to it – perfect if ballroom dancing, fine dining and beautiful eveningwear is your idea of heaven.

It’s also worth considering river cruise lines for singles cruises in your 50s. While river cruise ships will accept adults of any age, it’s still a type of cruise that is more popular with older adults, so again you’ll likely find single travellers closer to your own age with cruise lines such as AmaWaterways and Riviera Travel.

7. Cruises for Over 60s

An older man in a striped shirt enjoying the ocean view from the deck of a cruise ship, with a relaxed and content expression.

If you’re in your 60s (or older), a cruise still remains one of the best ways to meet other single travellers for friendship or companionship. A lot of cruise lines are still favoured by seniors who have retired and have money to enjoy, or who’ve just loved cruising all their lives, and don’t want to give it up.

Some of the best single cruise options for guests in their 60s are on luxury cruise lines – Regent Seven Seas, Silversea and Seabourn are classical favourites, while Viking and Scenic now offer ocean cruises on some stunning brand-new small ships that are highly sophisticated and opulent.

British passengers might prefer a cruise with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines or with Saga. Both of these cruise lines are aimed at guests 50+ (for Saga, there’s actually an age limit of 50, or 40+ provided you’re sailing with someone over 50), though the average age on each is over 60.

These cruise lines offer the British comforts of home blended with a relaxing cruise experience – so you’re more likely to meet other senior single Brits.

Again, river cruises remain a great option for solo seniors too. Scenic, AmaWaterways and Riviera are just some cruise lines where you’ll find adventurous souls who love fine dining, exploration and swapping stories.

Other Considerations For Single Cruises

Choosing the right cruise line, and deciding whether to book a themed singles cruise or not, will be the majority of your decision when choosing a cruise for singles.

But there are a couple of other things you should consider.

Cruise Duration

Typically, shorter cruises are better for anyone who wants to hook up. A lot of people looking for casual, no-strings-attached fun want a shorter cruise because they’re looking for a short burst of excitement – and they might not want to risk getting attached to someone over a longer period.

There’s also the cost factor of shorter cruises – someone who wants a fling is more likely to be booking a cheaper cruise.

A man with a colourful beaded beard, expressing surprise and delight, holding two ice cream cones on the deck of a cruise ship with the ocean in the background.

However, if you’re looking for something more serious, or if you’re interested in making friends rather than finding a romantic partner, longer cruises tend to be better.

Longer cruises are also more popular with the older generation – they tend to have more free time as more people have retired – so bear that in mind when making your decision.

Destination & Time of Year

The itinerary – specifically the destination for your cruise and the dates that you sail – will also play a small part in the type of singles cruise you enjoy.

Cruises to the Caribbean in the winter months are more likely to be suited to sex or casual fun cruises. It’s all about beach parties, hot weather and skimpy bathing suits.

A cheerful guest on a cruise ship, dressed in tropical attire with a straw hat and floral shirt, making a peace sign with the blue sky and sea in the backdrop.

Meanwhile, if you’re cruising somewhere that’s less of a party destination, and is more about the scenery and the history of the ports of call, you are more likely to strike up more relaxed conversations with other guests, and the atmosphere will be a lot less boisterous – which lends itself well to forging friendships or deeper relationships.

Time of year will impact the weather too, and if you’re on a cruise where everyone’s wearing a jacket and exploring ports under an umbrella, it hardly sets the hot and steamy mood for a sex cruise – it’s much better for a more relaxed singles cruise instead.

Final Word

So there you have it – many different options for singles cruises to suit all different tastes and intents.

If you’re someone young and looking to hook up with people, you might prefer a dedicated sex cruise, or something a little less intense like a party cruise.

Of course, there’s nothing to stop older cruise guests from booking themselves onto sex and party cruises either, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Different cruise lines definitely cater to different age groups, so consider which fits you best. And if you’re a single passenger who has an interest in adults of any age, rather than someone your own age group, you’ve got plenty of options to try!

Carnival’s Latest Cruise Cancellations Announced

Cruise passengers planning mid-2027 voyages aboard Carnival Adventure from Sydney will need to adjust their travel plans, as Carnival Cruise Line has cancelled six sailings scheduled between 17th May and 14th June, 2027.

Carnival Adventure cruise ship sailing on a blue ocean.

The affected itineraries ranged from 3 to 9 nights and included sought-after routes to Moreton Island, Vanuatu, and the Great Barrier Reef.

The cruise line cited a “short-term change in itinerary plans” for the 108,865-gross-ton ship but did not provide further details about the reason for the schedule disruption.

Carnival is offering full refunds to all impacted guests and the option to rebook on alternative sailings.

Those who choose to rebook will receive a nominal onboard credit as a goodwill gesture.

For guests on shorter voyages (3rd & 11th June), an onboard credit of AU$25.00 per person (approximately £12 / $16 USD) is being offered, capped at AU$50.00 per stateroom.

For longer cruises, that amount rises to AU$50.00 per person, with a maximum of AU$100.00 per stateroom.

The last confirmed sailing for Carnival Adventure before this pause is a 3-night roundtrip cruise to nowhere departing 14th May 2027.

Unconfirmed Dry Dock or Repositioning

While Carnival has not revealed the exact reason behind the change, some guests have speculated online that the ship may be headed for dry dock in Singapore, possibly for maintenance or upgrades.

These rumours are consistent with past fleet patterns. Sister ship Carnival Encounter, also acquired from P&O Australia, is due to undergo a similar dry dock in 2026.

Despite speculation that Carnival could be reducing its footprint in the region, the line maintains that it is committed to Australian cruising.

In March 2025, Carnival Cruise Line President Christine Duffy confirmed ongoing plans to support the region, stating the company is “proud to strengthen its commitment to the millions of Australians who love to cruise.”

A Shift in Australia’s Cruise Landscape

Carnival Adventure joined the Australian fleet in March 2025 after being transferred from P&O Australia, where it previously sailed as Pacific Adventure.

The ship underwent minor refurbishments and rebranding before beginning service under the Carnival banner.

The move followed Carnival Corporation’s retirement of the P&O Australia brand, with ships either absorbed into the wider Carnival Cruise Line fleet or sold off as part of a broader global consolidation strategy.

Currently, Carnival Adventure, Carnival Encounter, and Carnival Splendor are all operating from Australia, offering a variety of short cruises and longer Great Barrier Reef sailings.

Seasonal deployments are supported by Carnival Luminosa, which serves the region during summer months.

At present, Carnival Adventure is still expected to return to service later in June 2027, although revised itineraries have not yet been announced.

Cruise Cancelled Following Fire Onboard

Guests aboard MSC Cruises’ MSC Orchestra experienced a tense night on June 2nd-3rd, 2025, after a brief electrical fire in the engine room led to a prolonged power outage and operational disruptions during the ship’s Mediterranean sailing.

MSC Orchestra

The incident occurred during the early morning hours of Tuesday, 3rd June. According to passenger accounts, crew members responded quickly, with emergency teams deploying fire suppression measures and oxygen equipment in the affected area.

One guest described seeing crew “fleeing the area with blackened faces,” adding to the alarm among travellers.

MSC Cruises confirmed the situation involved smoke from an electrical switchboard in a technical space and emphasized that guest areas were not impacted.

“This was contained by the safety systems in the immediate area… There are no reported injuries,”

MSC statement

While the ship’s emergency systems functioned as designed, and there was no need for guests to report to muster stations, power was lost ship-wide for several hours, leaving the vessel temporarily adrift near Corsica.

Itinerary Disruption and Cancellations

MSC Orchestra was able to resume sailing under its own power and arrived safely in Genoa, Italy, where the ship will now remain for repairs and further inspection.

As a result, MSC Cruises has cancelled embarkations for guests in Genoa and Marseille, and impacted travellers are being contacted directly.

The ship’s next scheduled port of call, Marseille, France, has also been removed from the itinerary.

Satellite tracking shows MSC Orchestra, which is currently operating 7-night Mediterranean sailings, drifting off her planned route near eastern Corsica following the power failure.

Though no major hotel or entertainment disruptions were officially reported, guests have noted that some restaurants, including a la carte venues, were not open for breakfast the morning after the outage.

Fires – especially in high-risk areas such as engine rooms and galleys – are among the most serious threats aboard a cruise ship, which is why cruise lines conduct regular fire and safety drills and maintain highly trained response teams onboard every voyage.

This latest incident comes almost exactly one year after a fire aboard MSC Armonia in June 2024, which was quickly extinguished with no reported injuries.

As with all onboard fires, MSC Orchestra will now undergo a full inspection and safety evaluation before resuming her itinerary.

MSC Cruises has not confirmed when the ship will return to her regular schedule, but guests with upcoming bookings are advised to monitor communications from the cruise line for the latest updates.

Think CDC Stopped Cruise Inspections? Actually, They’re Happening More

You might have heard some rumors lately that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) had slowed its cruise ship inspections, perhaps due to budget cuts.   In fact, some outlets were reporting that the CDC had stopped cruise ship inspections altogether.

But a closer look at the CDC’s own Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP) reports tells a different story. It appears the agency is not only keeping up with its health and safety checks on cruise ships but might even be stepping them up a notch, at least compared to last year.

cruise ship dining on lido deck ocean view
ID 167115568 | Cruise Boat ©
Solarisys13 | Dreamstime.com

In 2024, the CDC conducted a total of 171 cruise ship inspections, which averages out to about 14.25 inspections every month.   The highest number of inspections came in November with 16 and the lowest in August with 9.

Now, let’s fast forward to 2025. So far this year, the VSP has already completed 78 inspections. If we break that down by month, we find that April 2025 alone saw 9 inspections, showing a clear continuation of the agency’s work.

When we factor in the four full months of data we have for 2025 – January through April – the average number of inspections per month climbs to an impressive 19.5. This suggests the CDC is doing more than just maintaining its pace; it’s actually picking up the tempo a bit.

Beyond just the quantity, the quality of these inspections remains pretty clear in the scores. For example, in 2025, we’ve seen fantastic scores of 100 for ships with Disney Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, Viking and Explora Journeys.

Disney Wish cruise ship
Disney Wish at Port Canaveral. Photo: Cruise Fever

The following ships scored a perfect 100 with the CDC in 2025:

  • Disney Magic
  • Disney Treasure
  • Disney Wish
  • Disney Wonder
  • Explora I
  • Norwegian Escape
  • Norwegian Jade
  • Viking Neptune
  • Viking Polaris
  • Viking Sea
  • Valiant Lady

On the other hand, some cruise ships had some problems, with scores like the Carnival Dream’s 89 and the Symphony of the Seas’ 86.

Although a crude comparison, it’s still interesting to note that the total score averages across all cruise ships in 2024 was 95.91 and so far, 2025’s average is 96.17.  A small—perhaps even meaningless– point, but one I find interesting regardless.

It’s also interesting to observe which cruise lines have been under the most review this year. So far in 2025, Carnival Cruise Line has seen the highest number of inspections, with 12 of their ships being checked. Close behind are Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruises, each having had 10 inspections to date.

One small point to keep in mind is that while inspections are definitely happening, there can sometimes be a slight delay before the full reports appear on the CDC VSP website. As someone who keeps an eye on this data, I’ve noticed this lag occasionally.   Sometimes a ship’s report won’t show up until more than a month after the date of inspection.

However, the data confirms that the work is indeed being diligently carried out behind the scenes.

So, while discussions about government resources are always part of the conversation, the evidence from the CDC is clear: cruise ships are still being inspected at the normal rate and even above it.

Of course, that may change in the near future, and I will report back if that happens.

Luxury Cruise Line Expands With New Ship Class

Oceania Cruises marked the official start of a new chapter in its fleet with a steel-cutting ceremony on June 4, 2025, for Oceania Sonata – the first vessel in a brand-new class of ships.

Oceania announces Sonata Class

Held at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Marghera, Italy, the event also included the announcement of the new class name, Sonata, and confirmed that a sister ship, Oceania Arietta, will follow in 2029.

Set to debut in 2027, Oceania Sonata will be the ninth ship in the line’s fleet and its largest yet, measuring 86,000 gross tons and designed to carry 1,450 guests. This marks a significant capacity increase for the line, whose current largest ships accommodate approximately 1,200 passengers.

“Oceania Sonata heralds the dawn of a new era in luxury cruising… We are proud to continue our legacy of innovation alongside Fincantieri, our shipbuilding partner for close to 20 years.”

Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises.

Montague noted that the ships in the new class will deliver the most guest space and onboard amenities ever featured in the Oceania fleet, though specific design or experience details have not yet been released.

Part of a Larger Expansion Strategy

The Sonata class represents the latest evolution in Oceania Cruises’ commitment to small-ship luxury, coming on the heels of the Allura class, which debuted with Oceania Vista in 2023 and will soon include Oceania Allura, launching in July 2025.

In total, Oceania Cruises operates ships across three distinct classes:

  • Regatta Class*: Regatta, Nautica, Insignia, Sirena
  • Oceania Class: Marina (2011), Riviera (2012)
  • Allura Class: Vista (2023), Allura (2025)
  • Sonata Class: Sonata (2027), Arietta (2029)

*The Regatta Class ships were purchased, unlike the rest of the fleet that was built for the cruise line. They were all built between 1998 and 2000, and joined Oceania between 2003 and 2016.

The order for the two Sonata-class ships was part of a broader fleet expansion announced in April 2024 by parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH).

In addition to the Oceania ships, the agreement with Fincantieri also includes:

  • Four 200,000-gross-ton ships for Norwegian Cruise Line, each capable of hosting 5,000 passengers, with launches scheduled between 2030 and 2036.
  • Two ultra-luxury ships for Regent Seven Seas Cruises under a new Prestige class, with Seven Seas Prestige arriving in 2026 and a second unnamed ship in 2029.

The Regent vessels will measure 77,000 gross tons and welcome up to 850 guests, further expanding the company’s footprint in the luxury cruise market.

As part of the multi-ship deal, NCLH has also committed to enhancements of its private island destination, Great Stirrup Cay.

With Oceania Sonata now officially under construction and Allura preparing for its maiden voyage in July 2025, Oceania Cruises is positioning itself for continued growth in the competitive luxury cruise sector – focusing on elevated onboard experiences, spacious designs, and a commitment to refined travel.

Trump’s New Travel Ban Blocks Residents Of 12 Countries From Cruising Out Of US

A new executive order signed by President Donald Trump on 4th June 2025, will bar nationals from 12 countries from entering the United States – a move that could have significant implications for cruise travel, especially for international guests planning to embark on U.S.-based sailings.

Set to take effect on Monday 9th June, the ban will prevent people from the affected countries from entering the U.S. at all – meaning they won’t be able to visit the country for a cruise whether it departs from the US or calls at one of the ports as part of a longer itinerary.

Cruise passengers holding citizenship from any of these countries – even those already booked on upcoming sailings from popular homeports like Miami, Fort Lauderdale, or New York – may no longer be able to board without exception.

The decision follows the 2nd June attack in Boulder, Colorado, in which an Egyptian national allegedly targeted a group of pro-Israel demonstrators.

The affected countries are: Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo-Brazzaville (not to be confused with DR Congo), Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen.

“The recent terror attack in Boulder, Colorado, has underscored the extreme dangers posed to our country by the entry of foreign nationals who are not properly vetted.”

President Trump

In addition to the outright ban, the U.S. will “partially restrict and limit” travel from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela, raising additional uncertainty for citizens of those nations hoping to join U.S.-based cruises.

Cruise Line Impacts Possible

While the majority of cruise passengers sailing from U.S. ports are either American or Canadian, international guests make up a notable portion of certain itineraries – especially world cruises, repositioning voyages, and sailings from southern Florida that attract large global audiences.

The new travel restrictions could lead to cancelled bookings, visa denials, or last-minute guest no-shows for cruise lines.

Some cruise operators may need to adjust passenger manifests or offer rebooking options for impacted guests.

It’s not yet clear how each cruise line will handle these changes, or if they will provide refunds for guests who are denied U.S. entry under the new ban. At the time of writing, it’s too early for cruise lines to have formed an official response.

Exceptions and Ongoing Negotiations

The executive order does include exceptions for:

  • U.S. lawful permanent residents
  • Athletes traveling for major sports events
  • Afghan nationals with Special Immigrant Visas
  • Immigrant visas for persecuted religious minorities from Iran
  • Dual citizens of non-banned countries

Trump also said he’s open to negotiations with affected nations, noting that countries willing to improve security procedures and share identity data may be removed from the list in the future.

Backlash and Political Response

Critics have pointed to similarities with Trump’s first-term “Muslim ban,” calling the new travel order discriminatory and damaging to U.S. global standing.

“This ban, expanded from Trump’s Muslim ban in his first term, will only further isolate us on the world stage.”

Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal

The 2025 order comes as the U.S. gears up for a busy summer travel season, and with dozens of cruise ships homeported across American ports, the ripple effects may soon be felt not just in airports – but at cruise terminals as well.

Cruise travellers from affected nations are encouraged to check with their cruise line immediately to confirm boarding eligibility, and to review updated U.S. entry requirements before travelling.
