Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced its newest ship, the Norwegian Luna, which will start sailing in March 2026.
This ship is part of the Prima Plus class and will be based in Miami, Florida. She will offer 7-night Caribbean cruises to places such as Great Stirrup Cay, Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola, Cozumel, and Costa Maya.
Norwegian Luna is being built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and will be a sister ship to the Norwegian Aqua.
Norwegian Luna will be 10% bigger and hold more guests than the earlier ships, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva.
She’ll be able to carry 3,550 guests and she’ll have a gross tonnage of 156,300.
Onboard, guests can enjoy new bars and restaurants, including a Thai speciality restaurant called Sukhothai. Popular spots like Cagney’s Steakhouse, Le Bistro, and Onda by Scarpetta will also be there.
The ship will have several bars, such as the Whiskey Bar, Belvedere Bar, and the Metropolitan.
And the Aqua Slidecoaster, making its debut on Norwegian Aqua, will again be a key feature of the ship.
She’ll also feature the Glow Court, a digital interactive sports complex that doubles up as a nightclub by evening.
All-new three-bedroom, three-bathroom suites will offer incredible family accommodation options in The Haven, with an expansive balcony to enjoy.
The ship’s first sailings from PortMiami are already on sale, so be quick if you want to enjoy one of the first cruises on Norwegian Luna.
