During Royal Caribbean’s weekly email to travel advisors today, the cruise line announced two big updates that include one of their private ports and VIP perks on their ships.
Labadee
It’s been awhile since Royal Caribbean cruise ships have stopped at the cruise line’s private port in Labadee, Haiti. They have been canceling cruise stops due to the evolving situation in Port-au-Prince.
Royal Caribbean has now canceled all port stops to Labadee through December 2026.
Guests who were booked on a cruise that had Labadee as a port stop should have received an email with their new modified itinerary.
Royal Caribbean stated that the port stops were canceled out of an abundance of caution.
Royal Genie Package
Royal Caribbean is now allowing everyone on board to purchase VIP status.
The Royal Genie Package is an ultra-exclusive upgrade that allows guests in all cabins to have their own Royal Genie.
