Royal Caribbean has posted the first release windows for its 2028-29 deployment schedule, giving travelers and travel advisors an early look at when several major regions will open for booking. According to Royal Caribbean Blog, the 2028 Alaska season is scheduled to open during the week of September 28, followed by the first portion of the 2028 Europe program during the week of October 12. Seven-night summer 2028 Caribbean cruises are slated to follow during the week of November 2.
The dates are release weeks rather than guaranteed on-sale dates, meaning itineraries may become bookable on any day within the listed week. Additional regions and deployment phases have not yet been announced. The schedule is particularly worth watching because Royal Caribbean has major new ships expected in 2028, although the cruise line has not confirmed their deployments in connection with this schedule.
