Royal Caribbean has now canceled Serenade of the Seas’ August 30 Alaska sailing after previously delaying the cruise by two days for technical repairs in Vancouver. Guests had been told the shortened sailing would depart September 1, but the ship remained in port, and passengers were later informed the cruise would not operate, according to a Royal Caribbean guest letter reported by Cruise Fever. Guests aboard were told to disembark by midnight heading into September 2.
