Transcend Cruises Partners With Mind Oasis By Rituals To Bring Signature Wellness Experiences Aboard Its First Ship

As Transcend Cruises prepares to launch its first purpose-built vessel for the group market next month, the company has announced a strategic partnership with the leading Netherlands-based cosmetics and wellbeing brand, Rituals and their “Mind Oasis by Rituals.” Mind Oasis offers multisensory wellbeing experiences: the signature Brain massage and a Hydro massage. Transcend is the first and only river cruise company to offer these one-of-a-kind, premium experiences, bringing a new perspective on innovative wellbeing to the European rivers.  Both experiences are highlights of Transcend’s expansive 2,600-square-foot, multi-level indoor/outdoor fitness, spa and guest wellness facility — the largest and most comprehensive of any river cruising vessel. The wellness facility is designed specifically to support the needs of multi-day meetings, incentives, retreats and affinity programs. The facility also features spa treatment rooms, a fitness center complete with the latest strength training and cardio equipment, an outdoor yoga deck, a barefoot walking path, as well as a sauna and relaxation areas.

The experiences in the Mind Oasis’ are designed as one complete wellbeing journey – where the Hydro massage relaxes and rejuvenates the body and the Brain massage recharges the mind.

The Hydro massage treatment, where guests float fully clothed on a warm waterbed while powerful, yet gentle hydro-jets move rhythmically beneath the body, helps relieve muscular tension. The dry-floating experience creates a sensation of weightlessness. Combined with red light therapy to rejuvenate the skin and support cellular recovery, as well as nature soundscapes and aromatherapy, the experience helps the body restore and reset physically.

Rooted in neuroscience and inspired by ancient philosophies, the Brain massage is a multisensory wellbeing experience designed to promote deep relaxation and restoration. Combining immersive sound, breath guidance, light, scent, and synchronized haptic vibrations, the experience gently guides the nervous system into a calmer state. Powered by brainwave entrainment, it helps shift brain activity toward slower, more restorative patterns, supporting recovery, relaxation, and mental wellbeing. 30 minutes of the Brain massage is experienced as 2 hours of deep sleep.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Rituals, a frontrunner in wellbeing, to offer ‘Mind Oasis by Rituals,’ a restorative wellbeing experience that only Transcend will offer on the European rivers.   Today, wellbeing and life balance is such an integral part of our lives, which is why Transcend is placing an emphasis on our expansive wellness facility,” said Kimberly Daley, Chief Operating Officer.  “Be it a corporate meeting or retreat, whereby planners want to make sure attendees can be at their peak performance or an incentive trip or private function such as a wedding, guests opting to experience the ‘Mind Oasis’ will be able to lessen the impacts of jetlag, sleep better and fully relax onboard.”

Daley added, “Transcend was purpose-built to rethink what is possible for groups on the rivers of Europe. This partnership is a strong example of how we are combining flexible charter design, premium hospitality and meaningful wellness experiences to create a new standard for the group market.”

“Mind Oasis introduces a new category of wellbeing – immersive, multisensory, and science-backed — that feels both innovative and deeply relevant for today’s guest. It allows partners such as Transcend Cruises to elevate their offering beyond traditional relaxation, into real recovery. Something guests don’t just enjoy but genuinely feel – and remember,” said Couro Seck, Mind Oasis by Rituals, Head of Concept.
