Norwegian Cruise Line’s nearly six-acre Great Tides Waterpark is scheduled to open to paying guests today, September 4, at Great Stirrup Cay in The Bahamas, coinciding with a call by Norwegian Luna. NCL previewed the attraction this week for officials, media and invited guests after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The park features 19 waterslides, the 170-foot Tidal Tower, the 800-plus-foot Wandering River with a swim-up bar and immersive tunnel, Splash Cay for younger guests, and Cliffside Cove with 10- and 15-foot cliff jumps. Three new food trucks are also part of the waterpark experience. NCL says guests can purchase admission through their myNCL accounts after booking a cruise.
