Serenade Of The Seas Returns To Service After Alaska Cruise Cancellation

Royal Caribbean’s Serenade of the Seas has returned to service after a technical issue forced the line to cancel its previous Alaska cruise even after passengers had boarded in Vancouver. Royal Caribbean Blog reported on September 7 that the ship’s September 6 sailing proceeded as scheduled after repairs were completed.

A Royal Caribbean representative told a guest that “all necessary repairs have been successfully completed” and that the issue had been fully resolved. The seven-night round-trip Alaska itinerary is scheduled to visit Sitka, Tracy Arm Fjord, Juneau, Icy Strait Point and Ketchikan before returning to Vancouver September 13.
